Archbishop Interviewed by Zminijietna
In an interview with Zminijietna, Malta’s Archbishop Paul Cremona said that it would be positive to look at alternative social models and think about them, adding that it would be good to see what results from new models such as those of Chavez’s Venezuela and Lula’s Brazil. The full text of the long interview, which was carried out by Michael Grech, can be read in the latest edition of quarterly review Zminijietna. In the interview the Archbishop also discusses issues such as work, immigration, housing, war, religious feasts and the Catholic Church.
The review also includes articles by David Pisani on the Lisbon Treaty; Christopher Cutajar on the experience of three Maltese youths who carried out voluntary work in Cuba; Victor Degiovanni on Divorce; Alfred Consiglio on Capital’s appropriation of people’s life; and Nina Zita on Ethical Procurement.
The review also includes a report on the public debate held by Zminijietna on the future of the Left which included participation of various leftist politicians, intellectuals, activists, students and workers.

The editorial board of the trimestral review Zminijietna is accepting articles for its next edition by Wednesday 22nd October, 2008.
Articles in this review are mainly political, social and historical. Articles dealing with arts, music, culture, health, sports and any other subjects are welcome.
